Saying yes.
So, he was a loomy, cynical bank-loan officer who once said no to everything. who had no expectations and drive for life. An unplanned self-help seminar imposed him to saying yes to prevent any disasters from occuring. Miraculously, everything took a better turn. and of cuz' theres a boy meets girl scene to add flavor to any humdrum plot. Jim Carrey is still afterall the star of the movie. though small laughter bits and pieces were contributed by other actors in the show, Mr rubber-face is still the one and only laughter-inducing guru. Im glad i came out of the cinema not only feeling my overly strained cheek muscles. of cuz' i brought home some enlightenment. The same life can be handled differently by any different individual. One particular scene caught me. 'man tried to jump off a building. Carrey walked by. went up the building and started playing a song on his guitar. man sang along with him. nosey people below sang along too. man loosened his guard. he got saved.' Lets be realistic, of cuz this is unlikely to happen in real life, but still, i like this scene. Its interesting to see how a person's life changes so much just by changing his attitude towards it. And definitely, the girl in the show is worth watching too. she is pretty as an actress. she is attractive as the character she played. think about that :)
Don't fret too much over life. just laugh it off :)
