Sometimes mission is not always impossible :)

Yesterday was the day to implement the huge project. I do have loads of big ideas on mind everyday, but materializing them is another story. So, the huge project really is HUGE to me. anyway, to paint your room, you need to first empty EVERYTHING in your room to the living room (or anywhere you want). There are 3 holes in my room. due to pipe leakage upstairs. before painting, we, or rather, the painter of the day has to amend these unsightly holes. and he did a great job as expected.

Of cuz, i am still in awe that im gonna have my room painted. so, it is a super duper happy day :)
So, the painting started. It might seem that i am just a passive character who is in charge of looking around. but no, i am not that useless. In fact, i was entrusted with the most important task of the project. without me, the painting would never have started anyway. so, i was in charge of making sure that paint dont get into undesired palces by covering every exposed area (aka NON WALLS) with newspapers. and i did a great job. bright future in the pasting industry.
See? thats what i meant. So, if im in need of cold hard cash, let me paint your room :)

OK. The maid tries her best to fit her role in this entire painting project. well, of cuz she is definitely useful. to a certain extent. besides posing for my camera :P

Little brother got damn excited about this project. guess we have more rooms to paint in future.
I really wasn't skiving. was just taking a short break. meaningful breaks are necessary to walk the long journey.

You don't paint in silence. You paint with groove. so i blasted my hi-fi to the max. and it was like painting in a club. HAHA. i like that.
Favourite pic of the day :)

Of cuz im not gonna have my room painted WHITE. that is too innocent a colour. and. im gonna paint mine lavender! totally lurveeee the colour. my painter has excellant taste. so, after the first coat of white which lasted all the way from 930am to 230pm, finally we moved to the real deal.
Purple!!!
My lavender coat finally completed around 7pm. well. Daiso at IMM is next :)

These are the purchases to decorate my new room. 20 items. 40 bucks. tell me where to get better deals!
These are what's on my white desk now. baby pink pebbles. white ceramic floral candle-holder. lavend flower. rose candles. sweet :)

My painter bought these pink floral prints from wink (is that what its called?) for 69 bucks. steep price, but definitely pretty and essential to complete the whole look.

It looks completely chicken. BUT its not an easy job at all. especially when you are doing it at 1am. Thank you so much :)
TAAADAAAA!!! Im totally in love with my drifting flowers in lavender ocean. especially those two stalks that emerge from my CLEO magazines :)

This is interesting. My air-con is so spoilt that it starts dripping water whenever i on it. So my promising painter came up with this nice idea of placing 2 'bowls' to collect the freaking water. Now, this part of my room feels totally zen. tranquility and peace i need :)

So, the room revamp poject started at 930am when we are still alive and groovy. and it stretched allllllllllll the way till 3am when my eye lids had a hard time staying awake. This is my first time painting a room and its definitely not as easy as i thought it to be. PAINTING YOUR ROOM IS NOT EASY AT ALL.
